Spring Classes Start Thur., Jan. 21
BERKELEY – Spring 2010 enrollment for Program for Adult College Education—PACE—is open at Berkeley City College (BCC) through Sat., Feb. 6, spring classes start Thur., Jan., 21. PACE is a college alternative for adults with job and family responsibilities. The program allows them to finish their freshman and sophomore years, in 2-l/2 years, then transfer to a four-year university to complete their bachelor's degrees. Classes are held six evenings a month and six Saturdays per term and include conferences, seminars, and television courses.
Counseling, financial aid, and library services are available to all PACE students. The fee for California residents who have lived in the state for more than a year is $26 per unit.
Register at BCC, 2050 Center St., between Shattuck Ave.& Milvia St., one-half block from the downtown Berkeley BART station and AC Transit lines. Registration times at the college are Mon. & Tue., 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Wed. through Fri., 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
